Adult Tiger found dead in Pench Tiger Reserve

In what appears to be a series of unusual deaths in Pench, a carcass of a tiger was found at Gumtara range in the core area of the Pench Tiger Reserve during patrolling by the ground duty staff as reported by Park Field Director S Sen.

Sen said he along with other officials rushed to the spot and studied the area.

According to the officer, the post-mortem and viscera reports of the big cat are awaited. Other officials in the forest department said the tiger was old.

We will post an update soon.
